Accountancy websites · AI- and answer-ready

An AI-optimised website for accountancy practices that want to be chosen, not browsed

Your site should do what a good first call does: establish competence, name the work, and make the next step obvious. We build accountancy websites that feel like a practice, not a software landing page, and that are structured for search engines and answer engines alike.

The beige brochure is still the default, and it is costing you

Navy header, stock handshake, “welcome from the partners”. It photographs as trustworthy and performs as wallpaper. Directors comparing three firms will pick the one that explained the engagement. So will the model summarising “accountants for property companies in Leeds”.

  1. 01Services are a list of nouns — audit, tax, payroll — with no sense of how you work.
  2. 02People pages are CVs. They should be a reason to instruct a named partner.
  3. 03The site is a PDF with extra steps: slow, unsearchable, unquotable.
  4. 04There is no schema, no clear FAQs, and no distinction between sectors you actually understand.

A practice site with a backbone

Design that signals care without costume

Distinctive type, generous space, dark or light depending on the firm. You should look current. You should not look like a crypto app.

Architecture around clients, not departments

Owner-managed businesses, contractors, property, groups — whatever is true. Department pages still exist; they are not the only door.

Technical and entity foundations

AccountingService schema, partner-level pages, software and sector entities, metadata, and performance that will not embarrass you in PageSpeed when a prospect checks.

A publishing rhythm partners will tolerate

A handful of durable pages beat a graveyard of tax-deadline blogs. We set the system up so updates are possible, then optional retainer work keeps them sharp.

Focused practice sites typically start around £2–3k. Heavier multi-service or multi-office builds sit towards £5k. Recurring optimisation, if you want it, from about £750 a month.

Questions we actually get asked

What does AI-optimised mean here?

Named services, named people, named locations, crawlable answers, and markup that states the facts. When someone asks an assistant for a firm like yours, there is something clean to cite. It is editorial and technical work, not a plugin called “ChatGPT SEO”.

Will you integrate our client portal?

We will link and explain it properly. Rebuilding a portal is a different job, and we will not pretend a marketing site replaces it.

Can we keep some of the old copy?

If it is specific and true. Most inherited “welcome” copy is not. We keep what earns its place and rewrite the rest in British English a director would not be ashamed to forward.

Do you need a six-week brand project first?

No. If the firm already knows who it is for, we can design and build. If it does not, we will say so in the audit rather than inventing a personality workshop.

Next step

Book an audit. We will say if the site can carry the work.

Audits from about £700. Websites about £2–3k. Retainers from about £750/month. If a rebuild is the better path, we will say so before anyone is out of pocket.
